Welcome! I’m Rebecca — a certified intimacy coach and sexual behavioral researcher based in New York City.
intimacy Coaching
As a coach, I support people who long to reconnect with their bodies, release shame, and experience more ease, confidence, and pleasure in their lives. Whether you’re navigating challenges with intimacy, exploring your desires, or just trying to feel more at home in your skin, I’m here to support you with curiosity and zero judgment.
My training includes certification in Embodied Intimacy and Relationship Coaching through the Embody Lab. My coaching blends open, honest conversation and listening with body-based practices like breath work, guided visualization, and movement to help you deepen your self-awareness and feel grounded in who you are. I support people in navigating dating, relationships and breakups/divorce, as well as deepening your relationship with yourself.
I became a coach because I personally spent years feeling disconnected from my body and my own pleasure, and I experienced a lot of shame around my sexuality. I was unaware of what my sexual accelerators and brakes were. Once I accessed coaching, I learned to listen to my body's messages and step into myself as a sexual being. I felt empowered to move through the world in a completely different way and I became passionate about sharing the tools I had learned with others.
I care deeply about creating spaces where people can show up fully, feel seen, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been quiet for too long. If you’re ready to heal old wounds and patterns to step into a more embodied, authentic version of yourself — I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
sexual Behavior Research
In addition to my role as an intimacy coach, I have been a sexual health researcher for over 20 years. I was trained as a public health professional in the field of Maternal and Child Health, with a focus on global reproductive health, at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC. My research has focused on developing HIV prevention products and interventions that make sex safer and more pleasurable for people of all genders and identities.
As a researcher, I have countless skills that I bring to the field of sexuality, including qualitative interviewing, survey design, data analysis, literature reviews, development of presentations/talks, and writing. If you are in the field of sexuality and wish to collaborate, get in touch! I have collaborated with coaches, on podcasts, and more to identify and disseminate evidence-based practices.
